Before students complete more than 12 hours of graduate level
course work toward the Operations Management degree, they must
satisfy the requirements for the four prerequisite courses listed
below. These requirements may be met in the following ways:
- Completion of the University of Arkansas course. These are
offered in the independent study format at each site each
term.
- Previous equivalent course work at the undergraduate level.
- Completion of a similar pre-approved course at another university.
- Successful completion of the University of Arkansas proficiency
examination for a specific course. There is no charge for
a proficiency exam but each may be taken only one time. (For OMGT 4853, Element K training in word processing, spreadsheet, and database substitutes for a proficiency exam. The site coordinators can provide more information on this option.)
